Technology at Hayden Heights Hayden Heights has a full-time computer teacher, Mrs. McConley as well as a part-time building technician.  Our computer teacher works with every class in several rotations during the year.  Computer Lab Our building technician supports computers in both academic and administrative settings, as well as audiovisual equipment and the school voicemail system. Ken Leebow, Internet speaker and expert, came to talk to us about internet safety. Computers in the Classroom The Computer Lab Computers in the Classroom Every classroom and at Hayden Heights is networked and has at least three networked computers. Access to the network at Hayden Heights not only allows students and staff to research areas of interest online, but it also allows students to access the school's Accelerated Reader, Accelerated Math and Renzulli Learning online and use a variety of other educational software. The Computer Lab The Hayden Heights computer lab is a 30-station iMac lab with one teacher's station. 30 of the iMacs were acquired this year. The computers in the lab feature much of the same software as classroom computers and much more. While general computer skills are stressed, the software found in the lab extends to cover all areas of the general curriculums in grades K-6.
